ABU DHABI -> Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, welcomed the UAE delegation that won medals at the 2023 Special Olympics World Games in Berlin. Sheikh Khalid praised the dedication and commitment of the athletes. The 167-person UAE team, including 72 athletes, competed in 20 sports including swimming, cycling, sailing, equestrian, judo and gymnastics at the 2023 Special Olympics World Games in Berlin. He won 73 gold, silver and bronze medals. The reception was attended by members of the Special Olympics UAE Board of Trustees, ADNOC, Integrated Transport Center Abu Dhabi, Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, Al Ain Sports Club, Abu Dhabi Public Health Center and Aldar Properties.
