Actress Nadia Lutfi departed from our world a short time ago, at the age of 83 after a struggle with illness, and she is one of the most famous actresses in the history of cinema, and we review in the following lines the most important information about her:
– Her real name is Paula Mohamed Lotfy, and she was born on January 3, 1937, in Cairo.
She obtained a diploma in the German School in Egypt in 1955.
– She has one son named “Ahmed”, from her first husband, marine officer Adel Al-Bashari, then she got married twice, but the marriage did not last long.
– It was discovered by director Ramses Naguib, and he presented it to the cinema for the first time through the movie “Sultan” in 1959 AD, and the artistic name “Nadia” chose her as a quote from the character of Faten Hamama in the movie “La sleep”.
– Her true start remains through the film “Black Glasses” in 1963.
– She exceeded her artistic balance of 75 films, and her most famous works are: “Al-Nasser Salah Al-Din, The Seven Daughters, The Sins, The Quail and the Fall, For Men Only, Between Kasserine and the Enemy Brothers.”
Throughout her life, she presented one television series entitled “Nass El Nass Nass”, and one play as well.
– A rumor spread that her mother was Polish, but she denied that, confirming that the reason for the spread of that rumor was her selection and Souad Hosni to meet a Polish technical delegation to Egypt, so some words were spoken in German, which made a journalist write that she spoke Polish because her mother is Polish, asserting that her mother is Egyptian called ” Fatema”.
– On the reason for calling her “Paula”, she said that during her birth her mother was tired, and she had nuns in the hospital and one of them was a beautiful kind woman named Paula, so her mother named her with the same name.
The health condition of the able artist, Nadia Lutfi, witnessed a noticeable deterioration in the past days, after she was transferred to the intensive care room of Maadi Hospital for the second time in one week, where she felt very tired after an acute bronchitis, which required her to be placed on a ventilator, so that the doctors decided to prevent the visit from her And hold her in the intensive care room, until her health condition is stable.
