Sharjah Football Club Team Receives Congrats from UAE President for Winning the President’s Cup Championship

ABU DHABI, 2nd May, 2020 (WAM) — His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” received the Sharjah Football Club team, which won the “His Highness the President’s Cup” championship for the tenth time in the history of the team and the club’s board of directors.
His Highness congratulated – during the meeting, which took place in the Qasr Al-Bahr Council in Abu Dhabi – all the players, the technical and administrative staff, and the UAE football fans in general and its fans.
For his part, the Sharjah Club delegation expressed their happiness at meeting His Highness and their thanks and appreciation for the support given by His Highness the President of the State to the sports sector at various levels and his direct and continuous follow-up to athletes in the UAE in all kinds of sports to encourage and motivate them to continue achieving achievements that add to the UAE’s balance of sports harvest.
The Qasr Al Bahr Council was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, and His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and a number of sheikhs.
