Solvay stays on top
TuS Königschaffhausen suffered its first defeat of the season in the district league A, season I. In the top game, the team of Dominik Ruth and Markus Strack lost to SG Solvay Freiburg/Umkirch 1:3. It wasn’t just the three points that gave reason to celebrate in Umkirchen’s Mühlbach Stadium. In addition to the victory of the second-placed team over the league leaders, there was also the birthday of SG coach Steven Helwig to celebrate. After a 0-1 half-time deficit, the locals turned the game around completely with a long-range shot from Emre Kaya Alp (60th), Lukas Metzinger (75th) and a free kick from Emre Kaya Alp (80th). With their sixth win of the season, SG Solvay Freiburg/Umkirch, which was newly founded at the start of the season, has moved within one point of TuS Königschaffhausen in the table.
