Benefits

According to Sherin Francis, general manager of STB, the platform will revolutionize the way of collecting and managing tourist data. She said consumers expect to be able to search, plan and book their vacations on the Internet. “One solution that we will achieve with the system is that we will have up-to-date and recent information on all operators and activities within the industry at all times.“, she clarified.

The steps to follow

The operator, wishing to make an announcement, must register his company or his service on www.parrapi.com before downloading all the relevant information for free.
Tourist services that can benefit from ParrAPI are accommodation, attractions, event organizers, operators. But there are also food and beverage providers, general services, rentals, tours, and transportation.
The downloaded information will be available in four languages: English, French, German and Italian. To better sell their ads, operators will also be able to upload photos and videos. They will only have to pay a minimum fee if they make changes to their list that require translation.

STB will review the data

At the time an operator has uploaded their information to ParrAPI, STB review the data to ensure it meets established standards. The list will be uploaded after it has been approved. “Until today, we were doing this for our website. All operators had to send us their information and we were the first to upload it to our website“, according to Sherin Francis. But with the establishment of ParrAPI, the operators will upload their information themselves and it will be redistributed on any platform connected to the system, once published.
