After Inter’s success on Getafe yesterday evening, this afternoon the second Spain-Italy Europa League derby with the Roma committed against the Seville at the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena in Duisburg. As in the case of Inter Milan, once again the qualification will be decided in the dry game. The winner of the match between Andalusian and Capitoline will be in the quarterfinals against one between Olympiakos and Wolves, on the pitch tonight at 9 pm; the first leg match played in Greece on March 12 ended 1-1. Before thinking about the Final Eight, however, Rome will have to pass the Seville exam, one of the particularly difficult ones. Julen Lopetegui’s team finished fourth in the league in the La Liga, thus qualifying for the next Champions League. Sevilla have not lost a game since 9 February, when they surrendered 2-1 away on the Celta Vigo pitch; since then 8 wins and 9 draws have come. Even Rome, however, can boast the excellent results obtained in the last period in Serie A: 7 wins and 1 draw, thanks to which it managed to defend the fifth place and the direct qualification for the next Europa League from the comeback of the unleashed Milan of Pioli.
