Seventy-two people were arrested aboard a fishing boat approaching British things

Seventy-two people were arrested after being found aboard a fishing boat off Great Yarmouth on the east coast of England. The NCA (National Crime Agency, the UK agency that deals with, among other things, organized crime and human trafficking) said the boat had sailed from Ostend, Belgium: it was intercepted on Tuesday evening. and was escorted into the port of Harwich in the early hours of Wednesday.

Among the people arrested there are three crew members, one of Latvian nationality and two of Ukrainian nationality: they are accused of aiding irregular immigration. The other sixty-nine people found on board are Albanian nationals, and are accused of trying to enter the UK illegally.
