BARCELONA – Management Barcelona will announce the dismissal of the coach, Quique Setien, today, Monday (17/8/2020). So, who replaced the 61-year-old coach?
Initially, the name Mauricio Pochettino was quickly reported to be Setien’s successor. In an interview, the Argentine coach would not refuse if he received an offer from management Blaugrana – the nickname Barcelona.

Besides Pochettino, there are also names Xavi Hernandez and Thierry Henry who are actually former Barcelona players. However, it is not the names above who are believed to be Barcelona coaches next season.
According to reports Brand, the Dutch coach Ronald Koeman who will be Barcelona coach next season. Moreover, there is a unique clause in Koeman’s contract which is still in contact with the Dutch National Team until 31 December 2022.
Koeman was allowed the Dutch Football Federation (KNVB) to move to Barcelona, as long as he received an offer from the Blaugrana management. Koeman seems to have taken advantage of this clause.

On monitoring Brand, the 57-year-old coach was seen arriving at Barcelona City Airport (El Prat) on Sunday 16 August 2020. Most likely, Koeman will be introduced as Barcelona coach today.
