We still do not know precisely the reasons for this tragedy. This Sunday 23 August, shortly before 2 p.m., 8 year old boy was hit by a car inside the Seignosse campsite, where he and his family were on vacation.
The emergency services were quickly called on the spot and were able to carry out first aid. Seriously injured, the child was evacuated by helicopter at the Bordeaux hospital center.
