A serious traffic accident occurred on the evening of Holy Wednesday in Piraeus, at the height of a shopping center in Rentis, when a car ran over 5 pedestrians, among them three children.
In fact, one of the children, aged 4, is hospitalized intubated at “Children’s Agia Sophia”. The other two minors were taken to the same hospital, while the two adults are being treated at the “Red Cross”.
According to the first information, the driver – who was arrested and is being held – stated that he did not notice the presence of the pedestrians and did not have time to react.
The traffic police is conducting a preliminary investigation into the accident.
