A serious traffic accident in Thursday morning in St.Gallen caused a serious injury. A 60-year-old driver was driving out of the city on Zürcherstrasse shortly after five o’clock. For reasons not yet clear, he came into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with a truck. The man was seriously injured in the accident and had to be rescued from his car by the fire service. He was brought to the hospital with the rescue, according to the St.Gallen city police. Both cars were totaled.
During the accident recording by the city police, traffic was diverted via the old Zürcherstrasse.
