Series of houses shot at in Den Helder | Inland

At least ten shots would have been fired. Local residents have heard bangs that sound like fireworks. The police do not yet know whether one of the homes was the target of the shooting.

The police conducted an investigation late into the night, Noordhollands Dagblad reports. Part of the city center has been cordoned off. A forensic expert has collected bullets and cases as evidence.

It is unclear whether there have been injuries or whether suspects have been arrested.
