At a meeting of the Serie A assembly, it was decided to resume the season on June 13th.
The date is determined in accordance with the decisions of the Italian government and medical protocols on the protection of players.
Since May 4, individual training has been allowed in Italy, and group classes are allowed from 18.
It is worth noting that in Italy, unlike the Bundesliga version, there is a strict medical protocol that involves stopping the tournament even in the event of a single infection. Italian clubs suggested taking the German protocol as a basis, but the scientific committee considered it insufficiently secure. In addition, clubs are recommended 15-day isolation after the start of group training.
Earlier, the resumption of the season was reported in Germany, Portugal, the Czech Republic and other countries.
In Serie A, a tough medical protocol: one infection will stop the championship, and club doctors have all the responsibility
Sports Return: UFC Resumed, Bundesliga Restart May 16th. Waiting for La Liga and the Premier League in June
