Senior citizens will receive such pensions from March 2023. Here is the table of gross and net payments [17.12.2022 r.]

Seniors will receive such pensions starting in March 2023. Next year, pension rates will increase on different terms than before. Some retirees will be able to count on an indexation of the quotas, while others will be able to count on an indexation as a percentage. We also know how much the minimum pension will increase. The government dealt with the draft amendment of the Old Age and Disability Pensions Act of the Social Insurance Fund and some other acts. It assumes an increase in the amount of the old-age, lowest total incapacity for work, family and social incapacity pension, as well as the lowest partial incapacity for work pension.

– We are implementing new pillars of the government’s high-level policy – Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stressed at the press conference after the government meeting.

The government has announced that in 2023 the rules for indexing pensions will change. Some will be subject to quota increases, others to percentage increases. The guaranteed pension increase is PLN 250 gross, i.e. PLN 227.50 per hand. The bill provides that people who receive the minimum pension will be able to count on this increase. It is currently PLN 1,338.44 gross and as of March 2023 such the benefit is to increase to PLN 1,588.44 gross.
