So this role is for you! The mission of the Payments Activities and Treasury Operations sector is to contribute to the transformation of payments and cash management through the implementation of corporate projects, the quality of execution and through collaboration and business proximity with partners.
What about everyday life?
- Act as a leader in the area of payments expertise and contribute to the definition of strategic orientations relating to the Bank’s business issues.
- Mobilize various sectors around these issues and support them dynamically to ensure consistency and efficiency with the Bank’s orientations.
- Identify the interrelationships between the various projects as well as the cross-cutting issues that impact the business units.
- Ensure the profitability of the improvements / solutions delivered.
- Work to bring together the different interests and proactively communicate the results, issues and risks to management.
- Initiate changes and promote a continuous questioning of ways of doing things in order to optimize the efficiency of operations.
- Establish and recommend strategies and approaches adapted to the context of the projects.
More specifically, you will have to:
- Carry out or participate, as a payments expert, in the realization of various large-scale projects and complex mandates having a significant impact on the profitability and efficiency of operations and of the Bank.
- Understand the business challenges of payment transactions, identify needs, impacts and propose strategies to support the completion of projects and process improvement taking into account the diversity of files.
- Influence directions, policies and target models related to your professional field.
- Provide support, actively participating in the delivery of transformation initiatives, operational excellence, standardization, simplification and optimization of processes.
- Participate in various committees and / or special projects that require a high level of expertise.
- Act as a “coach” and professional reference in the intervention process and practices with his colleagues and his work team.

Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the industry and seven (7) to ten (10) years of relevant experience
- Significant experience in cash payments, specifically in the management of electronic funds transfer processes
- Advanced experience in delivering large-scale business and IT projects, from initiation to post-deployment
- Knowledge of financial market products
- Excellent practice of Agile methodology and business analysis methodologies
- Advanced experience in process reengineering and advanced knowledge of continuous improvement principles
- Innovation and on the lookout for trends in the payments industry
- Strong change management skills
- Knowledge of Swift and Murex systems; an advantage
- Bilingualism (spoken / written) French and English; essential.
