According to a report from the National AIDS Control Council, 17.4 million condoms were distributed in 2019 in Senegal as part of the fight against AIDS.

In Senegal, a West African country, millions of condoms were distributed for the year 2019.
According to a report from the National Council for the Fight against AIDS in Senegal, an estimated 17,469,571 condoms were distributed in Senegal in 2019. “The number of condoms distributed free of charge through the Division for the Fight against AIDS and STIs (DLSI) represents a total of 9,052,551 or 52.4% “, indicates the report which adds that ADEMAS, through social marketing, distributed 4,080,844 with 23.3%; and private pharmacies, 4,241,279 or 24.3%.
In addition, the report mentions 687,865 people receiving HIV testing in 2019. Among these 483,129 are pregnant women, i.e. 70.2%, concludes the report.
