The Senate gives the green light to the confidence vote on the maxi-amendment on the 2024 budget with 112 votes in favour, 76 no and 3 abstentions. The assembly examines the note of budget changes, therefore the final vote on the measure, which will then be examined by the Chamber for the final approval. The maxi-amendment replaced the article with the changes introduced during the examination of the Budget Commission of Palazzo Madama.
The final green light from the Chamber will have to go off before the end of the year, to avoid the provisional exercise. Given the tight timeframe for the conversion, it is unlikely that any changes will occur in this last step.
Among the measures envisaged, in particular those that produce effects on people and families, the cut in the tax wedge, relief for mothers’ work, funds for the renewal of public contracts, Rai license fee discounted to 70 euros, Quota 103 with penalties. Here are some.
