BOLASPORT.COM – The quarter-finals of the Spain Masters 2023 tournament have been completed at the Centro Deportivo Municipal Gallur, Madrid, Spain on Friday (31/3/2023).
Of the seven Indonesian representatives who competed in the quarter-finals of the BWF World Tour Super 300 tournament, only two representatives of Merah Putih advanced to the semifinals.
The first Red and White representatives to qualify for the last four were Praveen Jordan/Melati Daeva Oktavianti.
Praveen/Melati managed to beat compatriots Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati.
Through a fierce rubber game battle, Praveen/Melati finished Rehan/Lisa’s resistance with a score.
In the women’s singles sector, there is Gregoria Mariska Tunjung.
The fifth seed in the Spain Masters 2023 managed to beat the Danish player, Line Christophersen (Denmark), in two straight games.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian representatives in the men’s doubles ended after Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan lost to their respective opponents.
Fajar/Rian lost to Lee Fang Chih/Lee Fang Jen (Taiwan) in a three-game tight match.
Fajar/Rian fell behind at the start of the first game.
