Russia’s invasion of Ukraine broke out on February 24 this year. After preparing for a rapid course of events at the beginning of the war, Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska is now set on a long conflict.
This is what Zelenska says in an interview with CNN.
– We must gather forces and save forces. I see no end to our suffering, she tells the newspaper.

In the interview, Zelenska says that she and her children did not see Volodymyr Zelensky for the first two months of the war. Initially, the president lived in his office, and his family was banned from living there for security reasons.
– Our relationship is on pause just as for all Ukrainians. We are waiting to be reunited, she says in the TV interview.
Furthermore, Zelenska calls the Russian attack on a shopping center in the city of Kremenchuk terrorism.
– We can not react in any other way than with shock. This is terrorism, you can not call it anything else. More than 1000 people were in there, Zelenska says in the interview.
