Jermaks thanked these countries for their decisions.
“Ukraine needs artillery, and we will provide it,” said British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. This is decided because Ukraine is now fighting against Russia’s offensive in the east of the country.
“It will be an artillery confrontation, they need support with artillery, and we will provide it (..) in addition to many other forms of support,” Johnson said.
Johnson has already reported in a telephone conversation with US President Joe Biden and other world leaders on Tuesday that there is a “critical need” to provide more military support to Ukraine. Among the participants were French President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudo, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and European Commission President Urzula von der Leien.
