Seeing the Special Series for the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, which is issued once every 25 years

KOMPAS.com – Bank Indonesia (BI) issues money rupiah a special series to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.

Money Rupiah special series issued by BI is money paper worth IDR 75,000.

BI Governor, Perry Warjiyo, said the warning money independence of Indonesia this is an offering of happiness to the Indonesian people.

Indonesian people can obtain and exchange this special edition, limited edition rupiah currency.

“The public can obtain this independence commemoration money through the rupiah currency exchange mechanism of Rp. 75,000. We have distributed the independence money to all Bank Indonesia offices,” Perry said. Kompas.com, Monday (17/8/2020).

Perry said money changers need to place an order online in advance on the site pintar.bi.go.id.

In the future, the RI Anniversary edition money will also be issued at the 100th Indonesian Independence Day.

This means that the BI tradition of issuing special money for the Indonesian independence series once every 25 years will continue.

Previously, BI had issued a special series of money for independence at the 25th Indonesian Independence Day in 1970 and the 50th Indonesian Independence Day in 1995.

On the 25th anniversary of Indonesia’s independence which fell in 1970, Bank Indonesia issued a special money series.

The special serial money for 25 years of Indonesian independence consists of nine types of coins with various denominations. Here are the details:

1. IDR 200

BI again issued a special series of money during Indonesia’s 50th Anniversary, namely in 1995.

The special series for 50 years of Indonesian independence consists of two types of coins. Here are the details:
