They put the numbers on new electric cars in Plovdiv. This reported Plovdiv24.bg the head of the chief inspector of the “Traffic Police”. Jordan Milushev.
“On December 7, we started placing the new license plates and so far the numbers have been placed on 15 cars. These are 100% electric cars, not hybrids, we place the numbers only on fully electric motors,” Milushev explained.
The numbers are the same for all of Bulgaria and start with the letters EA, which means “electric vehicle”. Each district has received a certain number of these numbers, for Plovdiv and the district it is 200.
Electric motorcycles and mopeds have already been registered in Plovdiv, Milushev also said. A moped and a motorcycle are now registered, again with an all-electric engine. The letters on their numbers are EM – “Electric Motorcycle”.
The numbering is again uniform throughout the country.
