Security guarantees for Ukraine – China is actively interested in the agreement

David Arakhamia, a member of the Ukrainian delegation at the talks with the Russian Federation, named the countries that gave oral consent to become guarantors of Ukraine’s security after the end of the war, and spoke about China’s interest in a future treaty.

Among the states that have already publicly announced their intention to become signatories of the agreement on security guarantees, Arakhamia named Germany, Turkey, France and Italy.

There are statements from Great Britain and the United States of their intention to consider such a treaty, while there is no final agreement yet.

“There is an interest of the People’s Republic of China now. It is already actively working on the document,” Arakhamia said.
