Slovakia is still recovering from the death of its beloved actor Milan Lasica (†81). He died on Sunday, July 18, after his performance directly on stage. His family arranged a completely secret funeral, which was attended by only a small circle of people. Moreover, it happened three days after his death, on Wednesday, July 21st.

Unforgettable Slovak actor Milan Lasica died on the stage of his beloved Studio L+S for heart failure. Politicians offered the family a state funeral, but the family refused it and instead organized a secret funeral, to which they invited only their closest friends and family.

In addition, the funeral took place three days after the favorite actor died. This was on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 21, as the Slovak daily Nový Čas found out. “I have information that the funeral will be only in the circle of the immediate family, which will organize it in this way. And it must be respected, ” Pavol Danisovič, Executive Director of L + S Studio, spoke for TASR.

Funeral without hype

The funeral took place in silence and secrecy without the presence of clouds of journalists, fans and casual spectators in the Bratislava crematorium. Of course, Magda Vášáryová, the love of his life, their two daughters and other selected guests came to say goodbye to the actor.

He also arrived at the last farewell Czech actor Bolek Polívka (71) with his wife.
