From February 1 to 16, the online pre-registration process will take place in Sonora, for students who will enter preschool, first grade and first grade in secondary school in the 2022-2023 school year, announced the Secretary of Education and Culture, Aaron Grageda Bustamante.
The head of the SEC invited parents, as well as guardians, to consult the requirements and register on the portal www.yoremia.gob.mx, which will remain active 24 hours a day during the period mentioned.
Grageda Bustamante pointed out that it is an agile, efficient and free process that can be carried out from the comfort of a computer or mobile device with Internet access.
He explained that this activity allows programming the allocation of human, material and infrastructure resources to provide quality educational care to the school community.
He emphasized that the objective is that no boy, girl or young person stays without going to school, for which he made available the Education Line: 6622 89 76 01 to 05 and 6622 18 37 57, to clarify any doubts where and provide them with guidance.
The state official explained that to authorize enrollment, school officials will first consider applicants with disabilities or special educational conditions, then those who have brothers or sisters on campus.
Later, he added, those who prove to have their address in the area of influence of the school and, having covered the above, will be able to register according to the availability of spaces in the school.
He reported that for the 2022-2023 school year more than 150,000 girls, boys and young people are expected and reiterated that registration is completely free, so it should not be conditioned to any type of quotas.
