The draft of the local transport plan for the future bus network in the Freiburg region is angry with many municipalities. There are also open questions about the financing and performance of the S-Bahn.
The Zweckverband Regio Nahverkehr Freiburg (ZRF) is working on a new local transport plan for the region. Under the title “Breisgau-Bus” it is about the bus traffic of the future in the two districts of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald and Emmendingen as well as from the surrounding area to the city of Freiburg. The draft of the plan has met with criticism in many communities. The two district councils should deal with this planning before the summer holidays.
