Accident happened on the EN125-10.
The detection of «a light vehicle» caused the death of two men, allegedly young people residing in Faro, last night, Tuesday, June 2, on the EN125-10, which connects the Algarve capital to the Airport.
To the windward, a source from the Faro District Distress Command (CDOS) said that “the alert was given at 11:47 pm”, reporting “a light vehicle was lost near the airport roundabout”.
When the media arrived at the scene, “two fatalities were confirmed”.
The same source also explained that «there were 20 operational personnel present, among them Firefighters, INEM, Red Cross and GNR, supported by nine vehicles».
