Prof. Kantardzhiev spoke about the fall of the masks, what a great danger we neglect and called on Serbezova to …

Prof. Todor Kantardjiev commented on the air of BNT the lifting of the restrictions from April 1 and what should happen to the purchased vaccines and tests. As BLIC wrote, the government has decided not to prolong the epidemic emergency situation since the beginning of next month.

“As we have long announced, warming is declining. Those who are in hospital are three to four times less. Omicron is not so dangerous. It is more common, but fewer people go to the hospital, “he explained.

Prof. Todor Kantardjiev commented on what is to come with the lifting of the restrictions as follows:

As of April 1, funding for the front line will be suspended. There will be a neglect of the flu, and it is dangerous, as you can see how many areas are highly morbid.

Personally, my opinion is that the Minister should go to a press conference and say what will be done after April 1.

In my opinion, the masks should remain in public transport, we should observe personal hygiene, the cultured person should wash his hands 12 times a day. In the coming days, things will be under control and acquire a European look after the change in the law.

About the purchased vaccines and tests for students, the professor commented:

“There must be new vaccines and with the emergence of a new mutation there must be a new vaccine.
With the tests purchased for students to test the Ukrainians who come and be provided for mass events.

According to Professor Kantardzhiev, it is especially important for unvaccinated elderly people to be immunized in the summer in order to avoid a new load on our hospital system in the fall.

With the tests left after the end of the mass testing at school, the authorities can check refugees from Ukraine or direct them to events involving many people, he added.

Professor Kantardzhiev called on the health authorities to consider how to keep the additional payment of the medics “on the front line” even after the end of the emergency. He stressed that tackling the large imbalance in doctors’ salaries will strengthen the health care system, which in turn will improve treatment conditions.
