The scooter rider who was involved in an accident in Dronryp on Saturday evening has died. This is confirmed by the police. It concerns a 36-year-old man from Leeuwarden.
The accident happened just after 8:30 am. At the Markol street, the scooter hit the road for unknown reasons. The scooter ended up in the water and the victim on the other side of the water in a meadow. Several emergency services came to the accident, but the help came too late for the victim.
