Scientists from Illinois, United States, released the results of a study in which they discovered how the end of the world will occur.
From this investigation it also highlights that it will not be as many imagine, much less will there be a great explosion like the one that killed the dinosaurs.
According to Matt Caplan, a theoretical physicist at the University of Illinois and who led the study, he mentioned that this research arose after calculating how the end of the world as we know it will be triggered.
However, the result of the investigation showed that in reality most of the stars will slowly die as their temperatures drop. “It will be a sad, lonely and cold place,” said Matt Caplan,
The study highlighted that the end of the world would be due to thermal death, which will occur when the supply of gas necessary to form new stars ends, from there the stars that still exist will begin to gradually die.
What will remain later will be only “burned stars and black holes”, the scientist stressed.
