statistically, with this number of stars there must be many planets close to the Earth. Otherwise, it would be Earth’s uniqueness. But such a large number of stars, and one unique Earth? In the 1950s (I did not live in the 1950s), people wrote in earnest about flights to different stars, jumps in space-time, tunnels, teleportation, time travel. Typical attributes are a large image displayed exactly in the air, a global computer for which nothing is a problem, a populated moon, drives e.g. photon (light particles), tachyon (time particles). Invisible energy barriers that don’t let anyone or anything through. The word astronaut comes from traveling to the stars.
