School in the cinema: teamwork. Short films by Raphaela Schmid and Simone Hart

As part of the school placement program School in the cinema of the Austrian Film Museum in Vienna in the series “Cinema Next” young filmmakers present their films.

School in the cinema
Teamwork. Short films by Raphaela Schmid and Simone Hart.

Filmmaking is always teamwork. The young filmmakers Raphaela Schmid (director and screenwriter) and Simone Hart (camerawoman) won the short film award (2019 for ENE MENE and 2020 for FISHES) have proven how they can create completely different films together. At Cinema Next, the two Vienna Film Academy students show us their films, tell us about their path into the film profession and what it means to make a film and develop handwriting as a filmmaker and together as a team.

Free admission.
Thursday, December 17, 2020, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The event will take place online due to the current cinema closings!
For students aged 15 and over. Registration of school classes at filmmuseum.at.
