Biblis.This year, the Biblis Little Bear and Company theater group means: Curtain up and film down! Since the amateur actors were not allowed to perform a children’s play in the Biblis community center due to the Corona regulations, the team made a film with the title “Nothing going on ?! Never not with Schnick & Schnack ”. This can be seen free of charge on YouTube from Wednesday, December 23rd.
It was important for the actors not to forget the children in this special year. So they made a film with well-known characters from previous plays. The two cheeky star hoppers Schnick und Schnack, who delighted the big and small visitors to “Sebastian Sternenputzer und der Sonnenstrahl” in 2017, are also there.
Reunion with many characters
Stefanie Reis and Marc Drackert slip into the roles of lively cheeky badgers again. Together the whole group wrote a script consisting of nine scenes. Schnick and Schnack meet the Milky Way policeman Michael Milchmann, Sebastian Sternenputzer, Wanda Wolkenfrau, King Maximilian von Sumpfland, Sandy Sandfrau and the Sandman, Mayor Miesepriem and the three young ghosts Henrietta, Isidor and Wundibald. These are represented by team members Vanessa Maßholder, Nicole Stöckel, Tina Dautenheimer, Norbert Linn, Tobias Mohr, Emily-Sophie Kühn and Marc Hauptmann.
Hauptmann was also a cameraman and took care of the realization of the film. The two weekends of filming took place months ago when the corona situation was more relaxed. The result is a 45-minute film in which there are guest appearances by the Biblis volunteer fire brigade and by Mayor Volker Scheib.
“Many thanks to all those involved, that makes the film even more special,” says Vanessa Maßholder and briefly explains the content: Since there is no performance, the bells and whistles in the community center quickly become boring. “Nothing going on ?! They moan. But anyone who knows the two naughty badgers knows: where the two are, there is “never nothing going on”. Anyone who would like to know what all the bells and whistles are going on in Biblis and the districts can digitally follow their heels. str
