Schiller doesn’t think much of life according to fixed plans

Hamburg/Rotenburg/Wümme – The music producer and mastermind behind the Schiller project, Christopher von Deylen (52), does not think much of fixed projects. “Plans are there to be changed,” said the North German of the German Press Agency in Hamburg, laughing. “So far, everything has turned out differently than expected, planned or wanted. For example, I would never have dreamed of reaching such a loyal audience over many years.” That is a great gift. Christopher von Deylen is celebrating his 25th anniversary with Schiller this year. For this occasion he has produced a full double album (“Illuminate”).

In any case, the music is far from over. “There are still many songs that are unwritten; many sounds waiting to be discovered. I’m looking forward to it.” In any case, he doesn’t get bored – even without music. “When I’m not in the studio, I enjoy our cats. Cat Balthasar moved in with us during the pandemic, and we got cat Shirin from the animal shelter a few months ago. By the way, Shirin means sweet in Persian.” The album “Illuminate” will be released on March 10th.
