Personnel of “We continue the change” in the Ministry of Agriculture stirred up another corruption scandal. We are talking about Deputy Minister Ivan Markos Hristanov, who is in charge of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA). It turns out that he has great interests in food production and laboratory tests, writes Narod.bg.
This explains his great personal desire to shut down his rival pesticide research laboratory on the border with Turkey.
All the vicious relationships are described in detail below, and Christanovi’s corporate family interests are clear from them.
Ivan Hristanov is the son of Markos Ivanov Hristanov – a staff member – recruiter to the State Security in Pleven, known for his bad temper and the huge number of people harassed by him and sent at his personal suggestion to the death camps in Belyane, Lovech and Skravena.
Ivan Hristanov takes over as Deputy Minister in the government of Kiril Petkov with the personal protection of his partner and sponsor – the Albanian Elvin Guri.
The infamous Guri and Hristanov have a long common business history, related to a credit company, their common property, which they later sold. Witnesses say how the company’s operational manager Ivan Hristanov used the services of gangster law enforcement agencies to pressure, intimidate and beat faulty borrowers.
After the sale of the credit company Hristanov, his wife Iva Palma and the gang around them, in addition to a number of schemes and scams, they also turned to activities related to food production and to a company for laboratory research.
This is the reason for his great desire under the motto “fight against corruption” to take over the business of researching pesticides imported from Turkey.

At the moment Ivan Hristanov, although he has no right as a minister, is on the board of directors of IMP Invest Bulgaria with the main activity “consulting services and business process modeling”.
For its part, the company participates in another company – Fidelis Research AD, whose main activity is … .. CONDUCTING LABORATORY TESTS!
This is where the dog was buried and this is where the clear interest in the seizure of the business from the laboratory of the Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint is evident.
In his short reign, Hristanov and the people around him clearly hope to lay a bright future by securing long-term sources of income, but alas, their plans are falling apart.
Despite the power and forceful support that Hristanov and his group have in the face of incumbent Prime Minister Kiril Petkov, as well as a mobster – a bank owner who is the prime minister’s right-hand man, their efforts to seize this lucrative business have so far failed.
Under the motto “fight against corruption”, these people went wild in the country with impunity, just as in 1944 the communists went wild in tsarist Bulgaria – forcibly seized, confiscated and killed with impunity under the motto of statehood.
The only and significant difference is that at the moment the law enforcement and judicial authorities are clearly aware of what is happening and despite the desperate attempts of the gang around Petkov and Hristanov to drag them to their side in this robbery, they hit a snag.
At the moment, although contrary to the law, Hristanov is still a member of the board of directors of IMP Invest Bulgaria and still consults and models businesses, including those related to laboratory research!
And although a number of signals have been submitted to the competent authorities, there is still no reaction from them. Why?
