SC Freiburg are loaning Muriel Kroflin to the Oklahoma Sooners for another season.

Kroflin has been playing for the Oklahoma Sooners since last summer. However, the 18-year-old made only three appearances in the United States – missing most of the season due to a cruciate ligament rupture.
SC department head Birgit Bauer-Schick is quoted in a press release as follows: “Muriel should gain some experience in the USA in the past year”. But she also thinks that Kroflin wasn’t able to play much due to her injury.
The club management therefore jointly decided to extend Kroflin’s loan by one season, after which she should return to Breisgau. “We look forward to seeing Muriel back in Freiburg in a year’s time.”
