Local entrepreneurs on the territory of a private oil depot arranged an illegal production of oil products. They sold their products to farmers in three regions.
Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine blocked in the Kirovograd region the activities of the group, which organized the illegal production and sale of petroleum products. It was revealed 200 tons of counterfeit fuel, informs press center of the SBU.
“For the manufacture of counterfeit diesel fuel and gasoline on an industrial scale, the group members set up an underground mini-plant on the territory of a private oil depot.
During the searches, the security forces found more than 200 tons of counterfeit fuel totaling more than five million hryvnias.
The withdrawn products and equipment for their manufacture were sent for examination.
According to preliminary information from the investigation, the illegal business was organized by three local entrepreneurs.
Criminal proceedings have been opened under Art. 204 (illegal manufacture, storage, sale or transportation for the purpose of selling excisable goods) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigative actions are ongoing to bring to justice all persons involved in illegal activities.
Prior to this, it was reported that the SBU prevented contraband of amber products… The figurants bought up raw amber, from which they made products for sale to foreign customers using a handicraft method.
Earlier, the SBU blocked drug smuggling scheme… The medicines found in Odessa do not have state registration in Ukraine and are prohibited for use in our country.
