Saulieu. Woman who died at the Relais Bernard-Loiseau: what we know

Vehicles of police and criminal identification technicians from Dijon had been parked since Friday morning in front of the Relais Bernard-Loiseau, in Saulieu, as we indicated earlier on our site.

According to the public prosecutor, Olivier Caracotch, this is the death of a 42-year-old woman who “is not from Côte-d’Or”. This woman wandered in Saulieu “screaming and committing damage”, specifies the parquet floor.

Inanimate discovery in the inner courtyard of the establishment

She would have entered the Relais Bernard Loiseau where she would have again committed damage and she would have come into contact with employees. When the emergency services intervened, around two o’clock in the morning, she was discovered inanimate in the interior courtyard of the establishment. They tried to revive her, to no avail. According to Olivier Caractoch, it is “probably a fall”. An autopsy of the body will be carried out next Monday to precisely determine the causes of death. An investigation was opened and entrusted to the gendarmerie brigade of Montbard.

Contacted, the Relais Bernard Loiseau does not wish to communicate for the moment. The establishment is in annual closure from January 10 until February 2 inclusive.
