Riyadh: The national airline company Saudi Airlines (Saudia) has a new look with a drastic change. The logo and cabin crew uniforms have changed. The new logo was unveiled at a ceremony held in Jeddah. The new logo is inspired by the 1980s logo with minor modifications and colors that deeply highlight the authentic Saudi identity.
The new logo has three colors associated with the country. The new logo incorporates green, the color of the flag, a symbol of pride and honor, the color of the palm tree, a symbol of the Saudi tradition of generosity, culture and hospitality, blue, representing the color of the country’s sea and sky, and sand, a symbol of the country’s wealth, authenticity and deep roots.
There is also a change in the flight attendants’ attire. The new uniform is uniquely designed by Saudi Arabia. There will also be a change in the way travelers are treated. The best dates and high quality Saudi coffee will be served. Food will be served with ingredients produced in the country. More than 40 types of food will be served in this way. Also provide passengers with tissue papers coated with traditional spices. The guest cabins will be in new designs and colors reflecting the ‘Saudia’ logo. Movies, channels and audio programs will have local Saudi content. The in-flight background music will be played by Arabian musical instruments.
The guest service system will be managed using artificial intelligence technologies. It will help passengers complete travel procedures including booking tickets through text and voice chat. Saudi Airlines announced the new changes on September 30, commemorating the journey made by Saudi founder King Abdulaziz on September 30, 1945, from Afif to Twaif in the national aircraft DC-3.
