Saudi Prince Abdul Rahman bin Musaed sarcastically responds to Egyptian journalist’s criticism of honoring Najat Al-Saghira in Saudi Arabia

Dubai United Arab Emirates (CNN)– reject The Saudi Prince, Abdul Rahman bin Musaed bin Abdulaziz, responded in a sarcastic manner, on Tuesday, to comments by the Egyptian journalist Khairy Ramadan, in which he criticized the honoring of the Egyptian actress Najat Al-Saghira in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recently, and that it was the first to be honored in Egypt.

Ramadan said in his program “With Khairy” on “Al-Mehwar” satellite channel, on Sunday evening, that “Najat appeared after 25-30 years, and that many invitations had been directed to her in Egypt, but she decided to disappear, and this is a decision that we must respect, but we were surprised by the… Joy Awards ceremony in Riyadh, with Najat appearing… with traces of her age. Najat stood at the microphone and did not say a word. She tried to sing while she was not singing, and then the world turned upside down. By the way, I congratulate Saudi Arabia, it is a smart country, and we lost, and they won. Very much in the presence of a spirit of salvation and in the presence of a form of salvation.”

Khairy Ramadan asked: “But who convinced Najat to go to (Saudi Arabia)? The story of the money is not in my mind that it is going, but there are beneficiaries who pressured her, as she cannot be looking for money after she is over eighty, and perhaps someone else wants money and I do not know who.” But she comes upon herself and travels to Saudi Arabia just to stand up. The shot is not for Najat, the shot is for Saudi Arabia and for Riyadh.”

Khairy Ramadan added: “Najat refused to be honored in her country even though she was more deserving, but she went, and some love went with her, and some reproach for her, and if she was unable to make a decision unilaterally, the blame remains on those who pushed her to go.”

In response to these statements, the Saudi prince said in a post on his official account on the “X” platform, previously Twitter: “It is true, Professor Khairy, your words are correct… How can a great artist like Najat go to be honored in a country that is an enemy of Egypt? A country that sought to cause harm and cause harm.” Throughout history, Egypt has been a country that has no lineage, language, or religion in common with Egypt.

Speaking about Saudi Arabia, Prince Abdul Rahman bin Musaed added: “A country that has not stood with Egypt even once in its history, a country that has no interests linked to Egypt, a country devoid of the presence of Egyptians, a country whose positions have all proven hostility and hatred since the tripartite aggression in 1956 through the Khartoum Conference in 1967.” Passing through the 1973 war, and Saudi Arabia’s position of cutting off oil to defeat Egypt, a country that did not offer Egypt anything but harm, hatred and hostility, there is no power or strength except with God.”
