The misconception: People diagnosed with mental disorders are characterized by dangerous and violent personalities.Correct conceptThe severity of the condition for psychological disorders varies depending on the depth of the condition, early diagnosis, and receiving effective support and appropriate treatment. Misconception: People with any psychological disorder cannot work or hold a job.Correct conceptEmployees with a mental disorder are as productive as the rest of their colleagues. Misconception: Mental health is not important for children and adolescents due to mood swings caused by changing hormones.Correct conceptTeenagers often suffer from mood swings, but in contrast, 14% of teenagers in the world suffer from mental health problems, and most mental health problems begin at the age of 14.
