On Sunday night, a high capacity was registered in the Mexico-Cuernavaca toll booth with direction to the CDMX, despite instructions from the federal and state governments to maintain confinement measures to avoid further COVID-19 infections.
The C5 of Mexico City published on its Twitter account a photo in which long lines of cars are seen that saturate the entrance to the city, while the exit to Cuernavaca looks empty.

Federal Roads and Bridges (CAPUFE) told Animal Político that this Sunday there was a “very large capacity” at the entrance to the capital, which caused traffic on the road.
“The capacity was between 45 and 50 vehicles per minute. This in the heaviest moment of the evening-night ”, CAPUFE responded to this medium.
The capacity of this Sunday is similar to that registered on Sunday, April 21, 2019, at the end of the Easter holiday period, when the National Guard reported that 42 vehicles were entering through the Tlalpan toll booth.
