In statements to DIARIO DEL SUR, the candidate for the Pasto Council, Miguel Paredes, said he was satisfied with the way his campaign is progressing, with a view to the October 29 elections.
Paredes, a lawyer by profession, is part of the list of the political movement Dignidad y Compromiso, where he has the number 11 on the card.
He stated that, in the course of his life, he has acquired important academic knowledge, which has led him to hold various positions, both in public administrations and in the private sector, which is why he claims to have a clear and comprehensive context of the opportunities for the development and improvement of the living conditions of the inhabitants of the capital of Nariño.
“I want to reach the Pasto Council, to continue working for the community, thus building the progress of the territory, where I have had excellent opportunities to live, study and work, always growing in an integral way,” he stated.
He added that, for this October 29, “I hope to have significant support from the Pastusos, in order to be able to carry out real and ethical political control, with the aim of carrying out efficient and effective public management.”
He added that “I have the entire conviction that the work of the public servant must be at the service of the common good and be done with dignity and commitment,” said Miguel Paredes.
