“Sara Glojnarić: The Avantgarde Composer and Triathlete | SWR2 Personally”

Sara Glojnarić is one of the most interesting composers of the younger generation. Her energetic music is mostly breathtakingly virtuoso, feminist themes and her identity as a queer woman find reflections in it as well as pop music or the power of social media. The 32-year-old has been living and composing in Germany since her studies in Stuttgart, and this year she received one of the renowned sponsorship awards from the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation. In SWR2 Personally, she talks about early influences in her Croatian homeland, about classical music as a source of inspiration and her fascination with triathlon.
