Security forces at the Cairo Security Directorate arrested a man and his sister on allegations that they abandoned their child as a result of a forbidden relationship between them.

The third district in Nasr City received a report from people saying that a newborn child was found lying in front of one of the orphanages in the district and that he was suffering from a bad health condition. Transportation and investigation showed the truth of the happened

Brigadier General Wael Ghanem, head of investigations in the Eastern Region, immediately ordered the formation of a research team to find the circumstances of the incident, and by conducting investigations and unpacking the cameras around the place where the the child was found, the identity of those who were accused of throwing it, and by tracing their journey they were arrested.

Investigations into the incident revealed shocking details, as it turned out that the child was the result of a forbidden relationship between an unemployed man and his sister – who lives in the same residential building – where the accused took took advantage of the absence of his father and mother to travel to work, and he had a relationship with his sister several times until he was surprised when she was pregnant. So they waited until she had the baby and threw him on the street for fear of their affairs being exposed.

A report was prepared on the incident and Major General Ibrahim Malik, Deputy Director of Security for the Eastern Region, sent it to the public prosecution to start investigations.
