Unitac MD Santosh Eapan arrested in Life Mission corruption case. Today, the Enforcement Directorate summoned Santosh Eapan to Kochi for questioning. The arrest was made later. Santosh Eapan is the first accused in the case registered by ED for money laundering.
1 crore was found from the joint bank account of Sivashankar and Swapna Suresh. Swapna Suresh’s statement was that this is bribe money. Swapna Suresh alleged that there was a bribery transaction of Rs 6 crore for Life Mission project in Vadakancherry.

Santosh Eipan had also revealed that he had paid a bribe of over 4 crores to get the project contract. Swapna Suresh says that there are still big sharks to come out in the Life Mission case. Swapna also alleged that the decision to give the project contract to Santosh Eapan was taken during the discussion held in the presence of the Chief Minister at the Cliff House.
