Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno open voice about his wealth which has soared almost threefold in a year.

The State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN) notes that Sandiaga’s wealth has jumped by Rp. 6.8 trillion or from Rp. 3.8 trillion in 2020 to Rp. 10.6 trillion in 2021.

Sandiaga admitted that he did not know for sure the reason behind the spike because his assets were managed by professionals and had been reported openly as a public official since 2015.

“Because all of my assets are managed professionally, I can no longer see what it’s like,” he said in a statement received CNNIndonesia.com from his personal assistant, Wednesday (20/5).

“I see this as a mandate and the work that I conveyed earlier is part of worship. Whatever is listed there belongs to Allah SWT, which has been entrusted to all of us to be able to benefit the community at large,” he said.
