Sanctions against Russia – US imposed restrictions against Skabeeva, Golikova and Pasechnik

The United States imposed new restrictions on propagandist Olga Skabeeva, Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration Magomedsalam Magomedov, First Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Yuri Averyanov, and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.

The list includes 9 ministers, including Minister of Energy Nikolai Shulginov, Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Media Maksut Shadayev, as well as 47 Russian governors and heads of republics.

The so-called leader of the “LPR” Leonid Pasechnik, as well as the military unit, which is part of the armed forces of the former so-called “DPR” “Sparta” and its commander Artem Zhoga, fell under the sanctions.

In addition, sanctions were imposed against the joint-stock company “Operating organization of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant”, created by the decree of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to usurp control over the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant and its so-called general director Oleg Romanenko. Restrictions have also been imposed on the organization created by the illegitimate military-civilian administration of Zaporozhye to process grain stolen in Ukraine, the State Grain Operator.

The United States has imposed sanctions on Argus Holding, a joint-stock company owned by Anna Surovikina, the wife of General Sergei Surovikin, who previously led Russia’s illegal war against Ukraine, and on Suvorikin herself. The list also includes Argus SFK, which is a subsidiary of Argus Holding and is associated with companies owned by SDN oligarch Gennady Timchenko, as well as Iskusstvo krasoty and Ryzhiy LLC, which are owned or controlled by Surovikina.

The states have also imposed restrictions on one of Russia’s main nuclear centers, the Zababakhin All-Russian Research Institute of Technical Physics, which develops nuclear warheads and provides stockpile support, as well as basic and applied research; All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Experimental Physics, which conducts experimental tests of Russian nuclear weapons; the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Dukhov Research Institute of Automation, which develops nuclear warheads; The Main Directorate of Deep Sea Research, which is subordinate to the Ministry of Defense, controls and operates Russian submarines.

Also on the list are companies responsible for gathering internal and external intelligence, such as Citadel.

The State Department also imposed visa restrictions on 1,219 Russian military personnel.
