Samsung Electronics promises to make the Galaxy Z Fold fold thinner and lighter in the future.
One of the deputy directors Samsung, Lee Jong-min said Samsung will make a foldable smartphone design that is thinner and lighter when meeting investors.
Samsung has launched the Galaxy Fold foldable smartphone line, the latest series Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a thickness of 16.8 millimeters when folded and weighs 282 grams.
Compared to its predecessor Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Z Fold 2 has been improved and in at least ten aspects.
Repair Galaxy Z Fold 2 includes a thinner and durable glass, dust-resistant hinge, a bigger screen, features to optimize the use of a large screen and multi-task capabilities as quoted by Phone Arena.
Other than that, Samsung also updated designs for hinges, on-camera modes, rear cameras, collaborations with other brands and the ecosystem at Galaxy Z Fold 2.
Rumors are circulating that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will use the latest chip from Qualcomm, Snapdragon 888 and supports the S Pen, which has been the hallmark of the Galaxy Note.
Leaked Galaxy Z Flip
Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Z Flip folding smartphone in 2020. Unlike the Galaxy Fold, the Galaxy Z Flip’s folding mechanism is done from top to bottom, or resembles a clamshell phone.
Samsung It has also prepared a successor to the Galaxy Z Flip, namely the Galaxy Z Flip 3. This is thought to be in line with the name Galaxy Z Fold 3 which will also be released next year. The news was broadcast by an accomplished Vietnamese whistleblower on Twitter, @ chunvn8888.
