Samsung to release public beta Android 11 for Galaxy S20 phones ‘soon’ – Tablets and phones – News

Samsung will release the public beta of Android 11 and One UI 3.0 for its Galaxy S20 phones soon. The intention is that after the test, the manufacturer will release the stable version of the upgrade and that should happen within a few months.

The upgrade includes Android 11 and One UI 3.0. This will include Android 11 functions such as smarthome controls in the menu with options to reboot or switch off the phone. There is also renewed gesture control in the firmware.

Samsung has had a beta program for its Android upgrades for several years now. The manufacturer then usually releases a stable version of the upgrade for all users around the end of the year.
